High in Morocco's Atlas Mountains, cedar forests rise above the spice markets. Atlas cedar grows wild there and in neighbouring Algeria, and those forests are the inspiration for this one.
Citrus and sea air open Smoked Cedar, then herbs, spice, freesia and jasmine run through the middle. Cedarwood, patchouli and amber settle in at the base, warm, earthy and a little mysterious. The patchouli is the island note: Indonesia supplies about 90% of the world's patchouli oil.
